Danish Museum of Science and Technology

Go visit the former private home and its versatile art collection, and try and find the technological works of art. In the Islamic collection you can explore medieval, Islamic science and technology from a shrine from Iran with a combination lock that has over 4 billion combinations, to a medieval book describing the invention of a robot.
ENIGMA
ENIGMA Museum of Communication is located in Fælledparken, in the eastern part of Copenhagen. It houses the national collection within post and telecommunications. Discover the history of communication and explore the innovations and technological development that has led to today’s many ways to communicate with each other. With the reopening of the museum in 2023, the museum has created a large children’s area, where the little ones can discover the world of communication with historic eyes.
The Viking Ship Museum
The development of maritime technology plays a big role in Danish history and especially the history of our Scandinavian ancestors, the Vikings. Viking ships and the incredible construction of them are an essential part of the Viking age. Because of these ships, the Scandinavian countries were founded, as the Vikings sailed along the shores of Europe. At the Viking Ship Museum, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the ships and craftmanship of the Viking Age, as the mu- seum is built around five original Viking Ships.
