MAGNOLIA - SMK's café

From when the museum opens at 10 a.m., MAGNOLIA is ready with a menu that will see you through the day – from delicious sourdough rolls and freshly brewed coffee to seasonal savory lunch dishes and homemade cakes and croissants from the café’s own microbakery.

MAGNOLIA works with seasonal ingredients and short supply chains and reduces food waste by thinking circularly in both its menu and materials. For example, the creamy pumpkin pasta is made from Eat Wasted’s pasta, produced from surplus bread, and the café’s coffee grounds are sent to the circular mushroom farm Bylandbruget Baggaarden, which grows mushrooms in the grounds – mushrooms that are then served in the café.

The café is open to everyone and can be visited without paying admission to the museum. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve a table.
