Danish Museum of Science and Technology
Technology is everywhere in our lives. In fact, it’s impossible to imagine humanity without technology. It solves problems, but it also undeniably creates them, and it defines our lives for better or worse.
At the Technical Museum of Denmark you can experience everything from iconic cars, aeroplanes and bicycles to everyday devices like computers, game consoles and smartphones – everything that has shaped the way you live. Take a fascinating journey through inventions that changed the world!
The Technical Museum of Denmark in Elsinore offers experiences for both children and adults. Here you can explore our exhibitions – historical machines and future technological solutions – or you can let your creativity run wild in fun activities for children.

Technological exploration
At the Technical Museum of Denmark you can get up close to the space capsule that sent Andreas Mogensen into space in 2015 as the first Dane. You can see historic cars from the Hammelwagen from 1888 to the first experiments with electric cars and challenge family and friends in fun computer games in GAMER. Feel the wings of history in one of Europe’s best collections of technology.
